Who We Are

 

We are award-winning International Headhunters who have been established since 1994.

We supply expert senior management, c-level, and specialist engineers to the Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas industries. Our services go beyond that of the traditional search consultancy, as we strongly believe that our company is an extension of our clients’ business. It is important to us to form a strong and transparent partnership with our clients, in order for us to develop an understanding of their business goals and objectives.

We have developed an effective and sophisticated process, which allows us to identify the needs of our clients and deliver the right talent that will make a difference to their company.

We are also a part of one of the world’s largest executive search organisations, MRINetwork who has nearly 250 offices spanning 4 continents, and one of the biggest executive talent pools.  We utilise the local knowledge of our Network Partners, to help us support our clients in the recruitment process in relation to local employment regulations and contracts, salary, and benefits.​

 

 

FOUNDER STORY
​Sandra Hill, is the owner and MD of The Hill Group but is also an award-winning International Headhunter.  Since Sandra was a teenager, her ambition was to own and run her own recruitment company, and for over 25 years she has led and developed the executive search experience for both clients and candidates.

Throughout her career, Sandra has developed a unique ability to build strong relationships with her clients and understand their needs through in-depth questioning to ensure she understands what they expect from this new member of staff or team.  She has a track record of successfully placing exceptional talent who not only drive business transformation but also fit well in terms of culture and core values.

Sandra has always believed in and been inspired by the concept of “giving back”.  She frequently takes part in charity events and raises awareness for causes she believes deserve to be heard.  This includes being an active Ambassador for Forever Manchester, a Greater Manchester Community Foundation that raises funds to support community activity throughout the city.

“It is easy to forget that giving back is equally important as running a successful business. It’s wonderful to see the impact Forever Manchester has on the diverse community we have in Greater Manchester. I am delighted to help them in any way I can.”

We support each other completely and focus on sharing the best practises and coaching, enabling us to be the best at what we do individually, and together as a team.

We believe in the motto, “work hard, play hard” and whilst in the office we work hard together achieve both our clients and candidates’ objectives, we make sure we do things that we are passionate about outside the office, that goes beyond the work we do and brings us all together.

We regularly get together outside of work, forming a relationship away from our desk, and on most occasions, we include our families.

We take part in a variety of activities such as bowling, family fun days, raising money for charity, music workshops, happy hour at our local, and we’ll use any excuse to fancy dress!
