  • Automotive – we placed a Sales and Marketing Director who expanded a US based aftermarket company’s business by £10 million. By putting in a new management team and recruited an entire sales team this individual grew the business to £22 million in 3 years!
  • Aerospace – we recruited a Vice President of Purchasing for a major aerospace company which had targets to save £3 million a year. In year one this person saved £8 million, and year two £6 million expected.
  • Consumer Goods – a Sales Manager we placed with a US company which wanted to expand their European business – this person grew the UK business from £3 million to £9 million, and created new business in France worth £6 million.
  • Plastics – we placed a Plant Director with a first tier supplier in the automotive industry – this individual was charged with transferring work from the company’s English site to Wales, and did so with no adverse effect on customers, meanwhile transforming the work force to achieve TS16949, and moving the company from one of the worst performing plants in the global organisation to top 5 in less than a year, he also raised significant grants from the Welsh Development Agency.
  • Manufacturing – a Supply Chain Manager recruited by us has renegotiated supplier deals, introduced new controls and has introduced new packaging. He also resourced their supplies from China & Malaysia and delivered savings that resulted in the profitability of the company increasing by 3%.
  • Engineering – an Engineering Manager we placed with an OEM where they had no real systems or controls in place to support an extremely innovative R & D Department. Within 6 months systems and processes were in place that reduced design time by 3 weeks and ensured everyone in the company could track changes to their projects.
  • Chemicals – we placed a Technical Director with a major global specialist chemical company in the US. Our recruit needed to take over from someone who had been in the role for more than 35 years, and who enjoyed an enviable reputation with the government committees they represented the organisation on. The client thought it would take five years to transition between the two individuals, but this was achieved in under a year with our candidate being considered an exceptional successor so securing the company’s position as market leader.
